Segun ABOGUN, is a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Ilorin with almost two (2) decades of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

He has served as Academic advisor to undergraduate students for many years; Assistant Business Journal Editor, Ilorin Journal of Accounting; Assistant Dean of faculty of Management Sciences. He is currently the acting Head of Department of Accounting. His areas of research interest cover Corporate Reporting, Management Reporting, Stock Market Research, and Sustainability Reporting. He also has to his credit over 40 articles published in local, national and international outlets.
