Biography

Olubunmi Florence Osemene is a Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Ilorin with 21 years experience of teaching, research and administrative experience at the university.

She served as Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator, Head of Department and as member of different committees at the university. She has published over 40 articles in reputable journals, presented papers at several conferences nationally and internationally. She has successfully supervised over 20 M.Sc. dissertations, 3 Ph.D. theses and several PGD projects. She consulted for some state governments on MDGs. Prof. Olubunmi is a Certified Chartered Forensic Accountant/ Auditor and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

EDUCATION

Olubunmi Florence Osemene possesses B.Sc.(Hons) Ile-Ife, MBA(Lautech), M.Sc., Ph.D.(Ilorin). All her Degrees are in Accounting except the MBA specialisation in Financial Management.
