Olubunmi Florence Osemene, a Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Ilorin with 24 years experience of teaching, research and administrative experience at the university.

She served as Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator, Head of Department and as member of different committees at the university. She has published over 40 articles in reputable journals, presented papers at several conferences nationally and internationally. She has successfully supervised over 30 M.Sc. dissertations, 4 Ph.D. theses, several PGD and over 200 B.Sc. projects. She consulted for some state governments on MDGs. She was a past Chairman of Ogbomoso and District Society of ICAN, served in various committees of ICAN at the national level, a past conference chairman of the ICAN academic conference, Rapporteur General at the South West Zonal Conference of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, among others.

Prof. Osemene serves as Director in the board of some private corporate organisations such as DOJE Microfinance Bank Ltd, T. O. Asaolu & Co (Chartered Accountants), Hefzy Consults Ltd. She is a Fellow Certified Chartered Institute of Forensic Accountants (FCCrFA); Fellow Certified Chartered Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (FCCFI) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).

EDUCATION: Osemene possessed B.Sc.(Hons) Ile-Ife, MBA (Lautech), M.Sc., Ph.D. (Ilorin).
